Made from the finest Wensleydale longwool locks, this handcrafted yarn requires a painstaking process, taking nearly 40 minutes to complete a single yard of yarn. Each artisan-crafted, hand-painted skein is made by Natalie Redding, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that is signed and numbered by the artist. Tailspun yarn knits easily and can be combined with almost any weight yarn to make scarves or an amazing fringe. It can also be worn "as is" with no knitting necessary. Just drape it around your neck and you've got a luxurious fashion piece. Because these yarns are hand-crafted, there are variations in yardage. Like all Namaste Farms fibers this yarn has the fresh, clean fragrance of an Aveda custom scent.
