This beautiful hand-crafted sock yarn is most assuredly an original creation. The yarn is handspun from multi-colored fibers; 3 plies of 3 different multi-colored strands. The dying is done in the city of Montevideo, half a mile east of the famous river "Rio de la Plata." The spinning is done by a conglomerate of home-based as well as on-site handcraft spinners located in the city of Melo, Uruguay. It doesn't get any more hand-crafted than that! The amazing colorways that change throughout each skein create gentle striping and the yarn has a lovely plump fullness and bounce and knits up easily, hugging your needles all the way through. Washing will give your creating a relaxed and even softer feel without any stretch, bleeding or fading. Plus this is a super value; well over 400 yards at a great price! Crafted of 100% superwash merino wool.
