"Mondo" by Lana Grossa is a DK weight fiber made of 52% extrafine merino wool with 48% cotton added for a lighter weight yarn. "Mondo" colorways range from mostly pastels to some darker, bolder shades and is designed for in-between seasonal knitwear such as cardigans, jackets, vests, sweaters and afghans.

A wonderful yarn! A real treat for people of all ages with sensitive skin! Truly combines the advantages of both materials - buttersoft and reasonably warm. Can be mashine washed, although it seems like shrinking a tiny-tiny bit by it (probably depending on the washing mashine also....). One of my favorites! :)
