Today I started to crochet an afghan (with 2 pillows to match) from this soft, easy-to-work-up 100% wool Deluxe Worsted Tweed. I LOVE the feel of this wool, as I really like working with ANY wool yarn. Bought 10 skeins --100 gr/220 yd-- on sale at Discontinued Name Brand Yarn for ONLY $3.00/skein-- bargain indeed! Will finish for nephew's August wedding.

Finished (7/6/09) crocheting 2nd afghan using 100% WOOL Deluxe Worsted Tweed. This in colors: 01 PEACH PUFF & 03 NECTAR TWIRL (5 skeins total) with mohair trim in 2 sections--LOVELY. YARN is SOFT & EASY to "WORK UP," -- I like it, but it could have a bit more twist. Larger skeins 220 yd/100 gr on sale at favorite website, DBNY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND at low price for excellent quality.

I finished crocheting 4 lapghans & 1 larger afghan using this soft, BEAUTIFUL 100% wool tweed yarn from UNIVERSAL. I'm SO HAPPY with ALL items; used 3.5 oz skeins: 5 OCEAN(blue/purple), 12 PEACH PUFF (peach/ivory), 6 nectar twirl (pink/gold) & cinnamon twist (muted oranges) for LOVELY results. Ordered on-line at Discontinued Brand Names yarns during spring/summer 2009 & sold out in Sept. when I wanted more.
