"Panache" created by Knit Picks is a wonderfully silky blend of 40% baby alpaca, 20% cashmere, 20% silk and 20% extrafine merino which is available in muted solids. "Panache" is a bulky weight, hand washable blend suitable for jackets, scarf and hat sets, heavy sweaters, blankets and other warm garments.

This is a dream yarn and the price makes it one to use over and over. The yarn is very soft and thus not a lot of weight or body - depends on if that is what you want, of course. Limited colors is only draw back.

I knitted a pair of fingerless gloves with Panache. They are very warm and soft. They have not pilled much at all despite the use. I will most likely be knitting a sweater with this sometime in the future, it is delicious!

This yarn is no longer being produced. I got in on it too late, otherwise I would have hoarded a huge stash of this soft yarn in all those lovely colors!
