Oriental Add to My Favorites
GGH's "Oriental" is a bulky ribbon yarn. Made of 97% nylon and 3% polyester, it has a shiny appearance. It can be hand washed and dried flat. Suitable for making hats, scarves, sweaters, wraps, shawls and all types of evening wear.

The silver/gold in the yarn "disappears" when knitting - making a lot of mess but also making the yarn less beautiful. I wonder if the rest will disappear when washed?

I absolutely agree with you. Oriental will be the first yarn I will dispose off because almost all the gold has come off and has created a big mess all over the house. And it was so expensive.
