Hmmm...It is my experience that Zephyr is lace wt not DK. I just knitted a Drops Nr 89 "Mini Poncho" with it. Can also be seen in Patternworks catalog Pg 43. It took less than 1 ball (630 yds). It's lovely.

The Zephyr lace weight was first and is still the most well-known, but there is also a DK weight. I have it at home. People should know that it doesn't have the sheen one might expect in a silk-blend yarn, and though not exactly heathered, there are white hairs throughout the yarn. Definitely more wooly than silky, though it does have a nice hand.
