Bernat's "Satin Solids" is a 100% acrylic yarn. It can be machine washed in cool temperatures and dried on low heat. This yarn is worsted weight and plied. Suited to making shawls, blankets, afghans, ponchos, sweaters, hats and scarves.

Very soft and luxurious feel, with a nice shimmer and loft to the knitted fabric. I made a pair of "Fetching" fingerless gloves from Knitty and gave them to a co-worker. Interesting color assortment, would be good for Fair Isle knitting. Although I generally knit with natural fibers, I enjoyed working with this yarn, and it is very affordable.

i too usually knit with natural fibers, but i really liked this yarn. i made a 5 ft long scarf that had intricate cabling and i still had a little yarn left all with one ball, so this yarn goes a long way.
