Very interesting texture combination and well worth the splurge for Noro's "Yoroi" wool-blend yarn. The fleecy, hand-dyed base strand in the gorgeous variegated colors you've come to expect from Eisaku Noro is entwined with an accent thread that also varies in color and thickness. The result is a lovely, traditional, muted wool blend yarn modernized by subtle highlights of bright color peeking through. Works beautifully in pullovers, cardigans, jackets, hats, mittens, scarves, coats this fall and winter. Made of 87% wool, 7% cotton & 6% silk.
