Noro's wool-blend yarn "Transitions" is original and worth the indulgence because it "transitions" from one color to the next nadt also from one texture to the next! This eye-catching technique comes from the mutotiple fibers used for the creation of this very special yarn - 7 fibers actually: 55% wool, 10% silk, 7% cashmere, 7% angora, 7% alpaca, 7% kid mohair & 7% camel. "Transitions" is available in the amazing color combos you expect from well-known designer Eisaku Noro and works well in any bulky-weight project such as sweaters, scarves, hats, coats and jackets.

I so enjoyed knitting with this yarn. I made a cardigan in stocking stitch, but afterwards I wished I had knitted it sideways in reverse stocking stitch. The inside looks really cool sideways. Anyway, I'm a little disappointed about how much it's pilling. It wouldn't keep me from knitting with it again, but if you really hate pills, I would say skip this yarn.

Transitions is really a unique knitting experience. I love the random dyes and the suprise fibers. It's like watching a whodunnit for knitters, I just have to keep knitting to see what comes up next.
