This is the nicest Noro yarn I've ever worked with. It's a good heavy weight, very soft and good for next to the skin, AND, if you really want to felt it, it felts well! The silk % is not large enough to prevent felting.

Looks organically rough (like most Noro), but is incredibly soft. The more you wear it, the softer and more visible the angora gets. I love this yarn, found it in a 10-skein pack on Ebay for $100, really good deal.

I have a love-hate relationship with Noro. I love the colors, hate the textures. This yarn is an outstanding exception. Although it feels rough and wooly in the skein, it becomes softer and softer as it is worked, and after washing, it blooms into a wonderfully soft, supple, slightly furry fabric, as the angora forms a halo over the wooly underlayer. The colors are more subtle than most Noro colors. Be sure to wash and block your swatch! The gauge changes dramatically after washing, and the fabric becomes much drapier. Also, although the label suggest a gauge of 4.5 stitches to the inch, even on small needles I could not get less than 3.5 stitches to the inch. I would describe it as a bulky weight, not a heavy worsted.
