From Cherry Tree Hill, the "Potluck Bulky Wool" six-pack superhank -- an amazing 1,206 yards of totally luxurious hand-dyed 100% bulky weight wool, put up in six color-matched hanks. "Potluck" yarns are unique, dyed in Cherry Tree Hill's wonderful "luck of the dyepot" method. That means that although the 6 individual hanks in the "six pack" are dyed together, they are more "fraternal" than "identical." Sometimes one or more may appear to be quite different.
Remember that no two "Potluck Six Packs" are ever alike, and subsequent shipments will not look as currently shown even though the Color Family name remains the same. These are the "Potluck Color Families":
Watercolors show a washed out or pastel effect.
Jewel Tones contain the deeper, richer colors (dark purples, blues, greens, and pinks).
Earth Tones are made up of natural earthy colors. They can be both light and dark (browns, greys, reds, greens).
Brights range in color from some to all of the colors. Just imagine a rainbow!
Blues/Greens are made up of different shades of blues and greens.
Blues/Purples are different shades of blues and purples.
