While it's a mercerized cotton and can be somewhat stiff on the needles, it's got a beautiful luster yet makes a sturdy fabric that resists pulls. I made a modified version of the Lace Blouson from Interweave Knits Summer '04. The yarn is hard to find in my area, I bought a bag of it at a knitting expo.
