I found several broken skeins of Rubezahl yarn at a friend's and neighbor's (now deceased) garage sale, in 2000 or 2001. My mission as a crocheter is to find cast off yarn and then create beautiful apparel and afghans from the "scraps". Now, in 2007, I'm making a scarf and beret from the Rubezahl yarn. It is delightful and soft passing between my fingers. For the scarf I modified an afghan pattern (Rich Ripples) by Lily Chin, from her book, "Mosaic Magic." I was curious about the skein label in a European language, so I found the yarn listed here on this web site. Thank you!
