EARLIER THIS YEAR, I KNITTED A BABY AFGHAN IN SOFTEE DENIM MARLED. I HAVE ALSO CROCHETED A CHRISTENING BLANKET IN SOFTEE WHITE. A FRIEND OF MINE WHO ADOPTED A FEMALE POODLE PUPPY ASKED ME TO MAKE HER PUPPY A PINK SWEATER. I ENLISTED THE HELP OF SOFTEE PINK AND MADE A TINY CABLE SLEEVELESS VEST WITH THE PUPPY'S INITIAL "B" EMBROIDERED ACROSS THE BACK WITH A TAPESTRY NEEDLE. ALL PROJECTS WERE ABSOLUTE HITS! THE YARN IS A JOY TO WORK WITH, AND SIMPLY FLOWS EFFORTLESSLY ACROSS THE NEEDLE. BOTH BABY AFGHANS ARE IDEAL--SOFT AND LIGHT, AND SHOW OFF THE STITCHES QUITE WELL.

This yarn is very nice to crochet baby items with. I have used it for several blankets and hats, and have been very pleased with it while using and when finished. Shows the stitches well and it very soft.

I'm crocheting my third doll blanket using a 5-oz skein of SOFTEE Baby in Baby Pink Marl(30301) for my niece's 2-yr-old daughter's baby doll. Yarn is soft & easy to work with using hook F for a shell pattern. Previous 2 doll blankets were birthday gifts for toddler girls' dolls, one for 19 x 13 inch IKEA wooden doll bed. I crocheted one in Pale Blue & other in Pink-- 2 girls LOVED how soft they are. Acrylic is easy to clean. Each bought with 40% off coupon (less than $2.00) from Joann Fabrics in Edina, Minnesota. I'll use again for crochet doll sweaters & cap sets.
