Although I LOVE all the other KnitPicks yarns I've used, this is my least favorite. I tried to make the lace T-shirt that is a recommended project. I got to a certain point and discovered an error. Trying to take out rows with this yarn is near impossible! The texture causes it to get caught up. It also knits up too bulky for the pattern. This is the first time in years I have had to toss a project. A disappointing yarn for me.

Me too, this is my least favorite KnitPicks yarn. It's very soft, but hard to work with even compared to other boucle yarns.

When I first tried Crayon, I got it on sale for $0.99, and although I loved the softness I also found it hard to work with. Recently while making a baby blanket I remembered the softness of Crayon and ordered more. It worked so well for the baby blanket that my husband asked for an afghan for him made in Crayon. That's what I am working on now, and it is working up wonderfully. I doubt if I could or would use this yarn for sweaters or anything of that sort, but for afghans it is wonderful! I do believe this will be my main afghan yarn from now on!

From a large Knit Picks May order, I'm crochet- ing a striped afghan in CRAYON 100% PRIMA cotton boucle: lt blue(23602) & buttermilk(23819) using a new pattern that's more complicated. Yarn's so soft & so far I noticed a nice drape. I ordered 20 skeins, but I'll have a little extra. REALLY inexpensive at $1.99/ 50 gr/128 yd skein. I am PLEASED with the quality as it's a NEW house-warming gift for Minnetonka, MN friends. Counted 22 colors; I ordered 5 other colors to see before I order more as it's such a BARGAIN!

What type of pattern are you using for CRAYON?
Knitting or crocheting? Please reply as I'd like to get a copy of it. THANKS, Sarah Helene
