I'm very pleased with the texture and softness of this yarn. I can't speak to durability yet, as I haven't completed the summer tank I'm making. However, although this yarn is incredibly soft and has a beautiful sheen to it, I'm disappointed with how easily it splits. It's an eight ply, and I'm doing rounds and rounds of mindless stockingette and the yarn loves to split. The splits are so common I've even purposefully dropped stitches in order to pick them up without the splits. Of course doing that takes even longer than normal, as the yarn only wants to split more. As a knitter, I'm not one who usually splits yarn; I hardly ever do it.
However, I still like this yarn, its tendency to split has merely prevented me from loving it. It is still the best cotton I've ever seen or worked with.

I agree with obsessedknitter, the texture is silky and lovely but the splits make me crazy, so I had to pass on this one.

I agree about the splitting, though lovely, silky texture. I also had trouble maintaining tension and found the stitches slipped off the needle a bit too easily. Have frogged what I was doing and will try again with a different pattern.
