This is lovely! It knits easily with little splitting. When washed though, the fibers thin a great deal, so be sure to check gauge after blocking for fitted items. The washed & blocked yarn is very light and soft.

I made Irish hiking hats with this yarn - they are incredibly light but very soft and warm. I made the hats a little smaller becuase of the "growth" that occurs after washing. I found that gauge changed by one stitch per inch.
