I used this for a Harry Potter scarf and I think this is a beutiful yarn! it has a very slight sheen to it and I havn't had any pilling on the scarf yet.

I love the soft sheen on this yarn. It has a nice, soft hand, though I have sensitive skin and it feels a little prickly on my neck.

Extremely soft, but somewhat prickly to the bare skin -- the alpaca threads stick out somewhat. However, it's a beautiful yarn, knits up great, and has a lovely shine. Great for next to the skin, too, if you're not super-sensitive like I am.

I love this yarn; soft and smooth, great stitch definition, a bit of sheen, holds up well and need I mention the price? I'd take this over more expensive brands any day.
