The yarn has a dry acrylic hand, which I hope will soften up with washing. There were no snags or knots in the skeins, and if you can live with the limited palette, this is a great alternative for pricier yarns of the same gauge. Especially good for baby clothes because it can be machine washed and dried.

The yarn knitted into a nice pair of sox, using Sox, Crazy Hot. I had enlarged the pattern and used two skeins. The dye was in longer color sections in one skein than in the other. I have two socks the same color with a totally different design.

My family and I were in love with the SOX yarns. My son said that they were the best socks he ever had. I tried to find out why the line was cancelled, and were to get some leftover skeins of the stuff, but no luck. I still need a good acrylic sock yarn.

I bought a lot of this because the price was excellent (it actually didn't cost more than I would normally pay for a pair of socks!) and the colors were pretty. Unfortunately, the quality was very disappointing. This yarn splits, gets tangled up in itself, and makes for coarse, scratchy socks. Oh well; you get what you pay for, I guess.
